rocksbox love

blouse: bcbg maxazria, pants: rag and bone, shoes: balenciaga, purse: marc jacobs, ring: gorjana c/o rocksbox

Okay--Rocksbox is one of the coolest ideas. Ever. I must admit that even though I love jewelry, I rarely purchase it--or remember to wear it! It's so easy for me to become tired of a certain piece of jewelry, and then I tuck it away in a drawer never to be seen again, so I know that if I buy this beautiful necklace, or ring, or cuff, it will likely be banished to the drawer of never-again-to-be-found jewelry items. Part of this is my inability to organize effectively, but I also grow tired of some of the pieces--especially the big, bold statement pieces.

The thing I love about Rocksbox is that you get 3 beautiful pieces in your box, then you send them back and exchange them for an entirely new, fresh set of jewelry whenever you want. PLUS, if you have become enamored with a certain piece that you can't bear to part with, you don't need to. You can just purchase it! I, personally, am obsessed with the delicate simplicity of almost all Gorjana pieces, and I was delighted to receive a Gorjana ring in my Rocksbox (featured above).

flowers in st. tropez

sweater: anthropologie, jeans: j brand, shoes: gucci, purse: marc jacobs, sunglasses: celine

During our trip to France a few months ago we stopped for several hours in St. Tropez on our way to Monaco. I can assure you that we did not spend nearly enough time in this charming city, but we had such an enjoyable time wandering through the cobblestone streets and window shopping. Actually, I'm not sure if anybody else enjoyed the window shopping, but I was absolutely drooling. Especially after stumbling upon the garden at Dior. We split a panini in the park and ended our day with some espressos at Senequier in the harbor. My husband was like a kid in a candy store with all the boats/yachts in the harbor, and the weather was simply perfect.

On a side note: I just don't really think it's fair that almost every city in France is more charming and special than the city before. Why can't it be like that in Texas...?!
