vintage and eclectic

dress: vintage from Paris, shoes: sara, necklace: anthropologie, sunglasses: dior

I opted to wear this fun, vintage dress to a designer market event one Saturday in Dallas. It was so hot here (per usual), and this dress is really nice for VERY hot and very casual and eclectic events, mainly because it looks like an "updated" version of something Laura Ingalls Wilder would have crafted for herself in her little house on the prairie. And eclectic this event was. When Brad and I walked up we felt like we were in an alternate universe where graffiti covered dumpsters were swimming pools, concrete parking lots were beaches, and Brooklyn Brewery tallboys and Topo Chicos were always free. It was awesome and weird.

I paired my vintage dress with some nude Zara slides, my go-to summer sandals for the past 2 months, and a brightly colored necklace from Anthropologie that matches the dress almost perfectly in a non-perfect sort of way.
